Bennetts Creek House
This small house was built about 1750. It was moved from Gates County near Bennetts Creek. It has been beautifully restored and modern comforts have been added such as air-conditioning and a gas furnace. Bennetts Creek house has a queen bed and a twin bed in the upstairs bedroom. There is not a door to close between the bedrooms. The stairs are old and very steep, so upstairs is not a good place for very young children. The bathroom has a shower. It has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, phone, and cable TV.
The fireplace can be used by the guests for $10. Pets are not allowed in this house and smoking is not permitted inside.
